Fiona was originally known as founder of Fiona Price & Partners, the firm of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) she set up in 1988 to pioneer financial advice to women. Heralded as the “the first woman of finance” by Harpers & Queen, Fiona built the business into one of the most respected and high profile firms of IFAs in the UK. She sold the business in 2004. Whilst MD, Fiona appeared frequently in the national press, on radio and TV. She is an accomplished writer and editor and has been profiled in 8 books on women entrepreneurs. Fiona has contributed her ideas on women’s finance at the highest levels within the sector and in Government. She was included in the “Top 100 List of Power and Influence in Financial Services” in 2003 and 2004 and has been the recipient of 3 national business women’s awards. Fiona, 47, was educated at Exeter University and then the City University Business School (now Cass Business School); she gained a Psychology Degree and a MBA respectively and latterly served on the Advisery Board of Cass.
